Brickford‘s population has grown again according to the latest figures released by the council.

Whilst there is steady growth during the year, a three year trend has emerged, showing that in the first 25 days of December, the population grows sharply.
Mayor Roger Hibbert welcomes the news;
Population growth for Brickford is fundamentally a good thing. We work hard to make our city a desirable place to live. We have fantastic health, safety and recreational resources available to the public and we are currently adding to our transportation infrastructure – making Brickford the place to live, work and play.
Neighbourhood Watch leader, Anette Twitcher, for the Greenview area of Brickford felt that the swelling population brings a mixed blessing;

New residents will bring with them new problems. Parking, congestion, jobs – all of these things are carefully balanced here. Brickford Council must react to the needs of its residents quickly – for the needs of those who are new and for their voters who have been here for years.
No further comment was available from the Council.
